Dear Parents

This is taken from a forum that I visit often. It is written in Chinese but I feel like putting it in English. So ENJOY :D
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
How many people actually knows how much their parents have done for them in their lives?

When you were 1, they fed you milk and help you bath, you thank them by crying all night.
When you were 3, they cook your dinner, you thank them by throwing their cooking on the floor.
When you were 4, they bought crayons for you, you thank them by drawing pictures on the wall.
When you were 5, they bought you new clothes, you thank them by playing in the mud pool.
When you were 7, they bought you a ball, you thank them by breaking all the glass in the house.
When you were 9, they pay for your piano lessons, you thank them by skipping classes to play.
When you were 11, they accompany you to the movies, you thank them by telling them to sit away from you and your friends.
When you were 14, they pay for your summer camp, you thank them by not calling for the whole month.
When you were 18, they come to your graduation, you thank them by not saying hi and going to parties all night.
When you were 19, they pay for your university, you thank them by telling them that they are embarrassing.
When you were 22, they bought furniture for your new home, you thank them by telling your friends that you don't like those furniture.
When you were 30, they will help looking after your children, you thank them by telling them that they are teaching your children wrong things because they are out dated.
When you were 40, they call wishing you a happy birthday, you thank them by telling them that you are busy.
When you were 50, they get sick often and needs your care, you then tell them that you are busy taking care of your kids.

Then one day, they will die, then you look back and you start thinking about the things you haven't done for them. It will stab your heart like a knife.

If your parents are still alive, then treasure them.
If your parents are gone, then don't forget, the love from your parents is the greatest love you can ever receive.

  1. LOL ironically, your posts so far don't show much love you have for your parents, but rather the pain you are suffering, due to the love you have not yet recieved from whoever that girls is.
Haha, perhaps you should post something that shows your appreciation for your parents' love :D
